AUSTRALIAN DISTILLING CO. BRINGS A ZEST TO SUMMER WITH BRAND NEW BLOOD ORANGE GIN

Award-winning craft spirit maker Australian Distilling Co. has captured the taste of summer in a bottle with the launch of Blood Orange Gin, joining the brand’s growing range of critically acclaimed gin and vodka.

Australian Distilling Co.’s unique distillation method sees the brand source ingredients from extraordinary destinations across the country to create a taste that is both beautifully crafted and uniquely Australian. Fusing the tartness of zesty blood orange with zingy South Australian lemon myrtle, Blood Orange Gin provides a complex taste that is bitter and sweet, and is the perfect accompaniment to a simple spritz or Gin & Tonic.

Australian Distilling Co. Founder Michael Hickinbotham is delighted to expand the brand’s range of craft spirits and deliver another innovative product blended with local botanicals ahead of the Australian summer.

The new product will join Australian Distilling Co.’s existing range of 17 spirits, each the subject of critical acclaim on the international stage. The brand, recently awarded 2 x Double Gold, 2 x Grand Gold and 2 x Gold at the Paris Wine and Spirits Trophy across a range of products including their flagship Australian Distilling Co. Vodka and Gold Coast Gin, now has over 200 awards in their collection.

Australian Distilling Co. was just as successful at the recent International Wine and Spirits Competition Hong Kong, securing Best Gin 2022,Best Distilled Dry Gin (Contemporary) 2022 and a 96 point Gold Medal for their Tasmania Gin, as well as two 95 point Gold Medals for Australian Distilling Co. Navy Gin and Gold Coast Gin, among other awards. Australian Distilling Co. Adelaide Gin also received a Best of Class Platinum Medal at the 2022 International SIP Awards, the highest honour within the consumer-led international competition.
