They say it’s impossible to improve on perfection, but they haven’t tried our Shiraz Gin. It starts with our award-winning Adelaide Gin, lovingly crafted in small batches in copper pot stills, and imbued with an aromatic collection of both classic and contemporary botanicals. Already a vibrant expression of Australia’s rich wine and spirit-making traditions, we elevate this celebrated gin even further by adding another Australian icon: Barossa Valley Shiraz grapes. Having sourced the ripe fruit from his winemaking brother David, Founder Michael Hickinbotham infuses the two just long enough to impart the fruity body of the shiraz grapes without losing the refreshing brightness of the juniper, rose, lavender and nutmeg-spiked gin. The resulting spirit retains the gin’s complex floral profile, but is imbued with a nose of pepper, blackcurrant and spice from the blended grapes, as well as hints of raspberry on the palate.
