Rhapsody Ruby Gin began its life as a collaboration between the Australian Distilling Co. and esteemed South Australian tea merchants T BAR. A serendipitous meeting led to the development of a recipe for the special event, incorporating blackcurrant and elderberry along with a collection of other aromatic botanicals, but after the first tasting it became very clear that this remarkable marriage couldn’t be limited to a one-off. Our Master Distiller has taken the unique flavour profile of T BAR’s beloved Serendipi-T tea blend, delivering captivating fruit and floral notes that perfectly complement a classic gin base, and used them to craft this berry-stained, ruby- hued spirit. The resulting combination is beautifully bright and juicy, but without the cloying sweetness associated with most ‘pink gins’. Australian Distilling Co.’s Rhapsody Ruby Gin is an accessible tipple, with a depth and complexity that lend themselves to refreshing long serves like spritzes.
