An Italian icon, the negroni evokes Roman sunsets and Venetian dusks, having been created as a punchier alternative to the Americano in the early 20th century. And just as the negroni replaced the Americano’s soda water with gin, we’ve upped the negroni’s gin a little to subdue the Campari’s bitterness and bring out more of the vibrant gin botanicals.
